In addition to Part 1 and Part 2, in which I shared about my shopping trips, this post will kickstart with another shopping day in Berlin. I hope you can bear with me, as I promise this will be the last post I will share about shopping in Berlin. Here goes~
Kadewe is the largest departmental store in Berlin. It is a 7 storey high building that carries over more than 100 brands ranging from the luxurious brands such as Gucci, LV and Prada to common brands such as Adidas, Camper and Boss Hugo. At times they do have sale going on, and the items on offer can really be a good bargain.
It is situated very near to U line – Wittenburgplatz station. Once you exit from the station, you will be able to see the traffic crossing as shown in the picture above.
After spending a few hours shopping in this mega shopping mall, I had a short walk down the shopping street. It was to my surprised that they are holding a retro car exhibition to the public. Some of the cars can already be classified to be in the antique category yet they are still able to function as good as new. I shall not talk further, instead I shall let the pictures do all the ‘talking’.
Don’t you agree with me that German cars are such a beauty to be admired at? (The high cost of owning a German car in Singapore can only allow me to admire them)
Berlin is really a place where you can get to see building comes in all sort of ‘taste’ and style. You can get to adore the classy shopping malls, pondering on the sight of an abandon old building filled with Graffiti and reading and learning about building/structures that hold a historical purpose in the cold war of Berlin. All these wonderful building and structures will be share in the next few subsequent posts.
So do stay tuned! 🙂
